Transportation Those travelling to El Salvador for extended tours or local travel are advised to rent the appropriate type of vehicle (compact or standard size vehicle for city and beach trips), 4WD (4X4) for off road and mountain excursions (Eco-Tours) or Microbus (Van) with driver for small group excursions.
